Complete Skateboards
One of the best things about the sport of skateboarding is the flexibility offered to skaters regarding their setup. For example, a rider might want a lot of ‘pop’ from their board and so would pick a deck made from very responsive maple wood, or one that has a large concave shape. However, that same rider might use their board for some downhill riding with tight bends, and so may want to choose soft bushings or add some risers to the board in order to give better turning ability. The point we are making is that you really can construct a board to suit your ideal needs very easily these days.
Having said this, some riders who are new to the sport might not know exactly what kind or setup they need, or alternatively might not have the funds available to buy parts individually. This where complete skateboard packages are a great option as they give the rider a great setup and are normally very well priced because all the parts that go into making the skateboard are bought in bulk and so this saving is passed on to you, the buyer.
Complete skateboards are often put together in such a way that they can tackle most types of skating. For example, you could use them quite happily in a skate park, for street riding, or even carving, and they will suffice for most riders. Only when you get to a certain standard in a particular form of skating will you need to alter your complete skateboard setup to get the best performance.
