Ladies love their boots, and this evident from the huge array of different boot styles. The classic leather boot will always be a favourite, be it the ankle boot which works great with a ra ra skirt, or the knee-high boots that can look stunning with miniskirts or hot pants -unfortunately a look that only a few girls can pull off. The riding boot is also making a return to popularity as designers have made them more comfortable and thus they can be worn in many more situations.

However, the one type of boot that has dominated the fashion houses and the high streets in recent years in the Ugg Boot. Originally from Australia, the Ugg boot quickly became a favourite of the fashion pioneers both sides of the pond in the UK and USA. It started as a university fashion item, but soon permeated all levels of fashion and became the most popular form of boot in the world. Made from sheep skin and with a fleece lining, it’s not hard to see why Ugg boots are so comfortable and why they are a must-have for many girls. Thankfully many of the surf clothing brands have jumped on the band wagon and produced their own version of the boots, which are often more affordable and no less comfortable to wear.
