Of course, one of the most important choices you need to make when choosing a dress is how low do you go? If you’ve got the legs for it or it’s particularly hot outside then you may be able to pull off a short dress. Don’t go too short however as people may get the wrong idea about you. If you are, shall we say, of an older generation, you might prefer a dress with a bit more length, perhaps one that comes to the knees at least? There are thousands of different dress styles, but colour design is also a very import factor to bear in mind. If the dress is a large one then avoid bold patterns or striking colours as they can often be overpowering. Conversely, if the dress is short, make sure any patterning or detailing is evenly distributed; otherwise it can draw attention to some areas more than others.
