Ladies Fleeces

Ladies fleeces are very popular as they tend to be lighter than many ladies jackets, but often provide greater warmth and wind protection than ladies jumpers or pullovers. They also feel great to touch which makes them equally nice to wear around the house on days that perhaps aren’t so mild. Not many people know that there are actually quite a few different types of fleece, which all vary depending on fabric and size of fibre. Most modern fleeces are made from polyester, but you can still get wool or cotton fleeces. Micro fleeces use very fine fibres, which are very good at blocking wind, but don’t tend to offer as much warmth as there is not as much space to trap air pockets within the fabric itself.
