Ladies Flip Flops & Sandals

We’re not going to lie; flip flops are the most popular item of clothing amongst the Extreme Sports Trader team. We wear them right up until the time of the year where you lose all feeling in your toes thanks to the cold, and bust out our flip flops as soon as the snow clears after the New Year.

It’s not just the men in the office either, our female staff love their ladies flip flops, and with very good reason. If you think about it, no other item of footwear offers the same cost-per-wear as a flip flop, and no other footwear has quite the same level of choice. Hang on a minute you’re thinking, a flip flop is just a flip flop right? Well, technically yes, but there are so many brands producing so many varieties of flip flops that you could pretty much buy a pair for every day of the year. Not that you will of course, because most people (us included) have a favourite pair of flip flops that we wear pretty much every day of the year when it’s not minus degrees.

There is a problem with flip flops however. Because they are so reasonably priced and because you wear them almost non-stop, they can get a bit smelly. This is normally due to the layers of skin you shed onto the flip flops and trend down with sweaty feet, mixed with oily sun cream that has run down from your legs. No problem though – just soak them in a bowl of water with disinfectant, give them a good scrub with a brush and hey presto, you’re ladies flip flops are as good as new and ready for another year of constant wear
