Ladies Gloves
It’s true that women might wear gloves in warmer months more than men, but gloves are largely a reserve of the winter time and are of the thick woollen variety. Another truth however is that there is a great deal more glove styles that women can choose from and to be honest, men’s glove designers are lacking behind. For a start women get the luxury of being able to wear mittens which can be a good deal warmer than standard gloves. They also have many more fingerless gloves styles, even those that have replaceable finger covers!
It is also much more common for women to be able to buy gloves that have matching ladies beanie hats or ladies scarves in the same design. This means that they don’t have to mix and match their winter accessories, but can instead buy a whole set and be confident from the outset that they will look coordinated and cool. Men’s glove design will catch up one day for sure, but who knows what new developments there will be in women’s gloves by then?
