Ladies Headphones
What’s the difference between ladies headphones and those that men, boys or girls wear? Well it’s a good question and one whose answer can be broken down into two sections:
Firstly, ladies headphones differ from those that kids wear as they are normally of a larger size. If they are over-the-head headphones then the pads are usually larger so that they can cover the whole ear and prevent external noise from getting in, and music from getting out. If they are ‘bud’ headphones then the bit you put in your ear is also larger as they would simply fall out if they were too small. They would not fit in the ears of children however, at least not comfortably.
Secondly, ladies headphones differ from men’s headphones purely on design. There is often no difference in the technical specifications of the headphones, or indeed the size, but the colours and designs are different. For a start men often don’t like wearing colours such as pink or purple, but also there are more floral or cartoon designs on ladies headphones that you probably wouldn’t see on the male equivalent. So there you have it, the only real difference is aesthetics.
