Ladies Walk Shorts

When the shorts come out, the summer is officially here. Whilst men's shorts are limited to just a few styles though, ladies really do have the luxury of great choice. Long shorts, short shorts, tight shorts, baggy shorts, denim shorts, cargo shorts...the list goes on. And what a range of designs and patterns as well! Ladies benefit from being able to wear far more vivid colours and this means they have more choice when it comes to clothing combinations.

Much like ladies board shorts, their walk shorts have received many updates over the years in terms of the quality of fabric and how they have been designed. For example, shorts designers are increasingly using more light-weight materials that are quicker to dry out, hold their colour better, but at the same time have no loss of strength or comfort. Also, in modern walk shorts the cut is a lot more flattering and follows the curves of the body rather than looking square and boyish. This enables ladies to maintain their femininity and sexiness whilst wearing almost any of the shorts options on the market.

Watch those tan lines however. If you go for a longer pair of shorts and catch the sun on your legs, you run the risk of having some seriously dodgy tan lines if you try to wear shorter shorts later on. That’s why it’s always best to go short when you’re in the sun, but protect yourself with lots of sun cream.
