Ladies Wetsuits
Why do ladies look so much better in wetsuits than men? Is it that men’s wetsuits leave nothing to the imagination, meaning all that boasting down the pub is undone in one foul swoop once the neoprene gets pulled up tight over the waist. Or is that women’s wetsuits hug the body so well and accentuate those feminine curves? Let’s just say it’s probably a bit of both and move on shall we.
Ladies used to have to put up with ill-fitting men’s wetsuits when they first came on the market. There were no wetsuits for women at that time and so the fabric was too tight in places and too baggy in others. As anyone who knows about wetsuits will tell you – the best wetsuit in the world is simply the one that fits best. This is because if you can get a wetsuit that follows the lines of your body perfectly, it will form a good seal and prevent cold water from getting in and warm water from getting out.
As you can imagine then, women used to have a pretty rough time of it when the water was cold, but thankfully this has all changed. Now there is a great range of ladies wetsuits that covers all water temperatures. From thick ladies winter wetsuits for use in very cold water, to short-armed and short-legged suits called ladies ‘shortie’ wetsuits, for use when the water is a little warmer.
