Mens Fleeces

When a men’s hoody just isn’t enough to keep you warm you can always turn to a trusty fleece. Fleeces use extra soft material that traps heat in between its microfibers and keeps your upper body toasty. For some reason fleece trousers are not quite as popular as tops, but then being covered head to toe in fleece might be considered a little too much. Fleeces tend not be that thick, meaning you can layer them quite easily in combination with t-shirts or jackets, and still be able to move your limbs quite easily. Their lightweight efficiency makes them very popular with backpackers and hikers who need to travel light, but often need to keep warm in the evenings or at altitude.

Animal are well known for making very good men’s fleeces, as are brands such as The North Face and O’Neill. Whatever brand you go for though you’re certain to find a colour, texture and size that suit you as most of the big names try to ensure they cater for all tastes. Most fleeces tend have a one quarter zip to help maintain warm in the top, but you can find a few full zip fleeces as well.
