Mens Jackets

The term ‘men’s jackets’ really does cover a massive range of styles, features and purposes, but they all have one thing in common – they are designed to be worn as an outer layer. This can mean a light cord jacket that is worn over a t-shirt in the summer. Or a thick goosedown jacket that is worn over about five fleeces and a hoody in the summer. Most jackets however fall somewhere in between the two extremes. They are things you can throw on over a t-shirt or a jumper to give you another protective layer against the wind and drizzle this country is famed for. Most jackets have a zip fastening that makes them easy to get on and off, but men’s jackets with buttons are making a welcome return to fashion. They can however be a fit bit fiddly if they are on the small side and if you are wearing thick gloves.

When it comes to colours and designs you’re spoilt for choice really. You can either go for plain and simple (which doesn’t make you boring don’t worry), or you can opt for flash and funky. A word of warning though...if you’ve moved some distance away from your early thirties, you might want to choose a more toned-down look. There is nothing worse that someone looking like they are busting a gut to be young and “hip” again.
