Water Skiing
Some people might consider water skiing old hat, or otherwise less extreme than the more modern wakeboarding. However, just like snow skiing, water skiing has progressed in recent years, and many people are finding the sport again after being tempted into taking up wakeboarding.
The modern water skis tend to be shorter than they were previously and thus offer the rider more control and dexterity. This means that aerial tricks can be performed much easier, and this has caught the attention of extreme sports fans. You can now get massive air off wakes, hit kickers with confidence, and grind all sorts of things without fear that your ski will come off and impale a bystander.
The other benefit we water skis of course it that you can pick up much more straight line speed than you can on a board, and this means more exhilaration, and potentially bigger tricks...if you’ve got the nerve that is.
