Haro's BMX line covers a lot of ground, with a long list of specified models for racing, dirt jumping, flatland freestyle, and vert (as in vertical ramps). In the vert category, the Mirra 540 Air, named for pro ramp rider Dave Mirra, offers up a lot of sturdy value and features at a reasonable price. The same blueprints for the top-of-the-line Mirra Pro, with its ramp-friendly longish frame and reinforced rear dropouts, make its way to the 540. Highlight parts that complement the quality chrome-moly frame include three-piece tubular chrome-moly cranks, Haro's chrome-moly Kneesaver 2k handlebar, Megatube pegs, and SST Oryg rotor for handlebar-spinning tricks without brake cable hangups. Finally, Alex rims laced with 48 spokes, front and rear, make for wheels that can take big airs and big landings. For an entry-level-priced trick bike able to withstand a lot of abuse, it's tough to beat this deal.
