This 9 foot 6 longboard has a single concave bottom and is very fast and loose. It rides much shorter than its length suggests. The board was purchased in Jeffrey's Bay and was shaped by Jigsaw locally. Unlike many South African surf boards, this was not made using the unreliable South African foam. The foam is Australian supplied by Burford Blanks.
The board has been ridden in many different types of wave from J-bay to Cornwall, to Kimmeridge Bay, to Brighton and performs well in a range of conditions.
The board comes with Island Style Tail Pad and Leash, and Glenn Darcey (J-Bay) Board Bag. The board also comes with FCS thruster fin set up.
There are a couple of minor dings on the rails, which could be easily fixed, but do not affect the performance of the board, or compromise its waterproof integrity.
