Up for auction is my Marin Rock Springs 2007 (Large Frame)
This bike was £1550 when new and I have spent quite a bit upgrading it since I have owned it.
The upgraded spec is as follows:
• 6061 Tara aluminium twin monocoque front, 6061 TARA 6" travel monocoque with adjustable ride height.
• Quad-Link aluminium swingarm with disc mounts.
• Fox 32 Vanilla R 140mm fork.
• Fox Float R rear shock, with rebound adjustment.
• XT 9 speed rear cassette
• XT Shadow Rear Mech
• XT Shifters (Front & Rear)
• SLX Dual Ring Cranks With Bash Guard
• XT Rear Hub Laced to a Mavic Rim
• XT Front Hub Laced to a Halo Freedom Rim
• Charge Spoon Saddle
• Race Face Stem (60mm)
• Hayes Nine Brakes (Front & Rear)
• WTB Moto Raptor Tyres
• Shimano SPD Pedals (with cage)
• Lizard Skin Swing Arm Protectors
The bike is in very good condition, it does have the usual cable rub and stone chips etc as you would expect on any mountain bike, however it has been very well looked after, always washed and relubed after every ride.
All bearings are in very good order and there is no play in any of the suspension bushes/linkage, both wheels are running true with no dents or dings in the rims.
Front and rear suspension is 100% with no marks on the inner tubes, forks have had new inner tubes/crown and steerer replaced and serviced by mojo just a couple of months back. (tubes/crown and steerer is all 1 unit and was changed because i had scored the the left tube)
I have 2 spring options for the forks which i will include in the sale (1 soft 1 firm)
I will also fit new pads before the bike is sold and supply 1 spare Betd Mech Hanger.
