Focus Black Forest Pro 2009 Hardtail MTB

I am selling my Focus Black Forest Pro 2009. It's Focus's top end Black Forest Model and lightweight enough to be a competitive race machine. In the 2 outings I've had time for since purchase, I was very impressed with the ride that the Recon Race forks and Shimano Deore XT hydraulic disc brakes gave. The bike climbs very quickly as you'd expect of such a light bike. All in all, you'd be looking at spending well over £1000 to get something that can match this bike for pace over cross country.

I bought the bike in September 2009 with a view to using it during the 2010 off road triathlon/duathlon season though am forced into a reluctant sale due to health. The bike retailed at £1350 when it was first available from Wiggle and given it's strangely generous spec (see below) it represents spectacularly good value for money compared with 2010 mountain bikes - many of which have been significantly downspecced in order to hold prices down in the current financial climate. The frame size is M/45cm (18 inches). I still have the original instructions, multitool and pedal wrench which came supplied with the bike and am including them in this sale. You're basically getting a new bike that's been taken out only 2 times. It's still in perfect condition and the disc brakes are still "squeeky" new.

You can collect the bike for free or I can deliver around York/Selby area for free, or you can arrange your own courier. The bike will be carefully packaged in the same format as it arrived in from Wiggle (i.e. boxed and bubblewrapped with handlebars, front wheel and pedals detached).
