For Sale is my Avanti D8 Downhill Mountain Bike. Avanti became Keewee mountain bikes shortly after this was made, and Keewee continued this top level design until they began using Taiwanese aluminium frames. The frame is made from 4130 chromoly and as a result will live on and on. Despite this the bike is relatively light and the D8 has a fantastic reputation for it's handling abilities. The bike had been sat in my shed for a few years and having finally brought it out and spent a bit of money getting it serviced and on some new bits at Zero G bike shop, I've decided I just don't have the time to use it any more. I'm after a fairly quick sale so have priced it very reasonably and am open to sensible offers.
The spec is as follows:
Frame: 4130 Chromoly, 8 inches rear travel, 17 inch / 43cm from centre of bottom bracket to seat clamp.
Forks: Marzocchi 888R

As is to be expected with a well used DH bike the paint is chipped and there is scope for upgrading certain bits, hence the price. As well as fitting the new components Zero G serviced the whole bike, new disc brake pads were fitted and the forks fully serviced so the whole thing is running smoothly.
