This is a fantastic boat not only for beginners. I outfitted it with foam to have a secure foot rest and padded the sides and seat to make it more comfy. I've used it only for 3 months after which I had to stop paddling :(. It has the usual scratches and some algae growing on the bottom, but nothing of any concern.
The kayak (new £426.55) comes with a spray deck (new £47.45) and a paddle (new £56.95), hence £400 is a superb deal ;)
