Ok! Due to falling out of love with actually competing in downhill in the UK (money and my own lack of skill, I still actually love MTBing though) I am selling my baby and want it to go to a good home.
The frame was a demo frame from last year and has therefore had about 4 rides on it before it came into my possession. It's now done about half a season, maybe about 15 hrs of riding total.
The Spec is as follows.
Frame- Solid Mission 9 Frame - Black - Medium Shock- Fox DHX4, 500lb spring.
Fork- Rock Shox Boxxer Team 2008
Front Wheel- Hope Pro 2 on Mavic 823 using DT DB spokes.
Rear Wheel- 150mm Hope Pro on Mavic 823 using DT Alpine spokes
Front Brake- 2008 Hope Mono M4 with Goodridge hose, 203mm rotor
Rear Brake- 2008 Hope Mono M4 with Goodridge hose, 183mm rotor
Cassette- Shimano Ultegra 11-27t
Chainring- Middleburn DH 36t
Bottom Bracket- FSA Super Wide (Dunno what model!)
Cranks- 2006 RaceFace Evolve DH
Rear Mech- LX Rapid Rise short cage
Shifter- 2008 XTR
Saddle- SDG IFly-C Ibeam
Seatpost- SDG I Beam alloy
Handlebar- Funn Full On (high rise)
Stem- Funn RSX Integrated.
Grips- ODI Lock On
Tyres- Choice of Various Michelin or Maxxis
The forks have just been serviced by TF and a brand new motion control cartridge replaced under warranty. There is a tiny tiny scratch on the stanchions that has no effect on performance. There is also a tiny amount of play on the bushings of the rear shock, this is absoloutley unoticeable when riding.
The bike will come with both rear shock springs as well, I'll also throw in a set of Electric goggles and a spare set of tyres.
I'm looking for the buyer to collect from the Thames Valley (Reading) area, ideally or though if free to meet this Thursday or Saturday could travel within reason.
£1500 or sensible offers please. Or maybe entice me with something Enduro/freeridey (SX, Nomad, Heckler 6.6 that kind of thing)
